Then fly into the cannon, shoot to the island and land IN that cannon and then shoot to the finish line. When you land, Koopa will start his speech and the moment the race starts, it will end.

To get Darkrai in Platinum, you have to find Cresselia first. In Canalave City, Go to the 3rd bottom house on the left and talk to the sick boy, then talk to his father which is the sailor and he will ask if you want to sail to Fullmoon Island, say yes and once you are there at Fullmoon Island, you will find Cresselia, but she will leave, so pick up the Lunar Wing she left behind then set sail back to Canalave City and give the sick boy the Lunar Wing, he will feel better. Now you can go inside the Canalave Inn (assuming you have the Member Card and National Dex) if you don’t, then the door will be locked. Once inside the Inn, you will fall asleep and wake up on Newmoon Island, there you will battle Darkrai.

Just as the title states, this video will show you how to use the Member Card that you have received over Wi-Fi in order to meet Darkrai on a very exclusive island. Right after receiving the Member Card from any Pokemart, be sure to save your game. Unless of course, you want to start from scratch. Anyhow, now use Fly and fly to Canalave City. Go to the Harbor Inn that was previously closed. It should now say "Harbor Inn - A place for restless sailors to snooze away" or something like that. If not, there are three things you must accomplish first. 1. Beat the game and be entered into the Hall of Fame. 2. Get the National Pokedex by at least seeing all 210 Pokemon for the Sinnoh Dex. 3. Go to Canalave City and into the sailor’s house next to the dock. Speak to his son and you'll find out that he is ill and suffering from nightmares. Now, speak to the sailor and get the Lunar Wing from Fullmoon Island and bring it back to his son. After completing this mission, you should now be able to enter the Harbor Inn that was previously locked. Now, enter the Harbor Inn and the rest will unfold itself. You will be taken to New Moon Island where Darkrai will be waiting for you... Best of luck to you all with capturing Darkrai! Or attempting to... Mwahaha.
