The GameDaily One-Minute Review
After seeing so many soccer and hockey simulations pass us by on these shores (at least on the console front), we finally have our first micromanagement sports game for the Xbox with EA's NFL Head Coach, and while some aspects are deeply impressive and really give you the idea that you are in fact a head coach of a powerful NFL team, there are too many dry points that pop up. The AI quirks are frustrating, some events just manage to stack on time and aren't fun at all, and multiplayer, while interesting for a few plays, lacks any real interactivity, save for some schnazzy play calling. The technical set should love this game, but everyone else would do best waiting for Madden '07.
