The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a wonderful little puzzler/platformer from Nintendo that will remind you of how games used to be in the days of the Super Nintendo. To clear levels gamers will have to avoid spikes and enemies, as well as use timing to not get zapped by lasers. Many levels (especially later on) will work the brain, requiring gamers to hit switches in the proper order or decide how exactly to get a necessary item from point A to point B. The game gets bonus points for becoming devilishly difficult towards the end, and for having creative boss battles. Unfortunately, these same points are lost thanks to the title's brevity and lack of anything truly compelling.
