The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Last year's Major League Baseball 2K5 was pretty much the king of the diamond about this time last year, nailing everything just right in performance, presentation, and online play to make it the quintessential baseball experience. Now 2K Sports is back with the only MLB game in town, and it's sure to enlighten fans, especially with its new Inside Edge system. But one can't help but think that some things come up in short in trying to trump last year's champion. The presentation is solid but lacks the zing of the ESPN license, the commentary gets a little bland, and the presentation skips a bit online. It's a step backward, but most of you won't mind rounding the bases anyway.
