THIS is next-gen baseball? You're kidding. Where 2K Sports managed to rise to the occasion with the delectable NBA 2K6, they sink to mediocrity with the underdone Major League Baseball 2K6. What we basically have here is a glossed-over version of the game with very little addition and a $20 price drop, not to mention some horrible freezing problems that send this game to the showers. Hard-hitting sluggers with a deep pocketbook might want to take a curious look, but this game is too flawed to recommend past anything but a rental. And even that will frustrate.
