As if Guitar Hero II hadn't scored enough rock star cred already, the Xbox 360 version of the mock rock classic cranks it up to 11. Just like the PS2 version, play along with new and old rock anthems using the guitar-shaped controller, pressing the colored fret buttons and strum bar when prompted onscreen. The game stays fresh with hot new features like unlockable achievements, downloadable content, sharper graphics and 10 new songs including "Dead" by My Chemical Romance and Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" The included white Xplorer guitar (modeled after the Gibson X-plorer) handles heavy axe work well, though a wireless version would be twice as nice. Even so, no rock 'n' roll soul should deny themselves their pick-free destiny.
