The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Bandai's string of horrible anime-based games continues, as Zatch Bell! Mamodo Battles is yet another boring and mindless beat-em-up starring characters who look and sound extremely annoying. Things start out decently enough, as the game includes several teams to select from, features some desirable cel shaded graphics, and includes some well drawn art work, but the uninspired combat and the stupid battle situations I encountered had me desperately reaching for the PlayStation 2's power switch. On par with the equally horrid InuYasha Feudal Combat, Zatch Bell will only appeal to fans of the series that enjoy punishing themselves.
