The GameDaily One-Minute Review

After the abysmal WrestleMania X8, THQ and Yukes are back with another sports entertainment installment for the GameCube, WrestleMania XIX (WM19), and surprisingly, it's not half bad. Although it doesn't feature as many superstars as other games on the market, it has a bizarre and unsatisfying story mode, and its graphics aren't up to snuff, but its gameplay shines. With controls similar to THQ's WWF No Mercy for the N64, veterans should feel very comfortable with WM19 and it has most of the popular match types such as Hell in a Cell and TLC matches. Just don't expect the dramatic presentation of the games available on other consoles.
