The GameDaily One-Minute Review
THQ and Yukes have truly delivered a WWE smorgasbord with SmackDown Vs Raw 2006. This sequel to the best selling wrestling franchise is loaded with tons of match types, superstars, and new features such as GM Mode as well as the ability to wrestle for belts in Exhibition matches. But all is not perfect with this game. Not only is the actual gameplay a bit slower than I'd like, but many of the finishing moves feel like slaps to the back of the head instead of career threatening. Then there's the commentary which is just abysmal, and some superstar music is noticeably absent. It's s shame, because the flaws, however few, are big enough that they sometimes overshadow the game's best qualities. I still think it's worth a purchase, but like last year's game, this SmackDown Vs Raw isn't as godly as some reviewers will have you believe.User Reviews
