Blizzard Entertainment and The9 Limited announced today an expansion of their original license agreement. Now, the partnership between the two companies will include the launch of Wrath of the Lich King for China. The title will be the second expansion for the massively popular World of Warcraft.

The9 has been the operator of World of Warcraft since the game initially released in that area. The Chinese company also handled the rollout of the game's first expansion, Burning Crusade. Just last week, The9 reported that World of Warcraft exceeded one million concurrent players in China.
