Before you get all excited about how Blizzard is finally going to offer World of Warcraft as a downloadable game (because that would only make sense), it only applies to Warcraft III and StarCraft right now.

Blizzard officially unveiled today their new online store. Along with the new layout, the most notable addition is the ability to digitally download certain Blizzard titles. Players can now purchase Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and StarCraft Anthology and directly download them from Blizzard.
Players can also purchase "Game Time" for World of Warcraft in increments of 30, 90 or 180 days. Currently, the store does not offer direct downloads of any Diablo or World of Warcraft products. Physical copies of those games can still be purchased at Blizzard's store, however.
