Daily Mail, a UK-based paper, reported that Tim Eves, age 25 had died after playing a workout session of Wii Fit.
Eves was reportedly jogging on the Wii balance board when he suddenly fell over while his girlfriend Emma was watching. She and his roommate, Lewis Hickin, tried to revive the player, who was declared dead on arrival.
Paramedics who were on the scene speculated that Eves may have suffered from Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS), a rare disorder that stops the heart from pumping blood to the brain. Exercise may have been a contributing factor in the man's demise but since Eves was known to be person who did work out, his activities with Nintendo's popular exercise device may be more of a coincidence and not caused by the game.

wow what a way to die. i wouldn't want to die that way.
i love how the media always tries to find an excuse to call video games bad for you.
dumbasses he had a heart problem this is like the same thing as when a few years ago some kid died on mission space in disney but it was because he had some undiagnosed heart condition
I knew exercise was bad for you! This is just more proof of why i should sit on my couch and eat taco bell every day for the rest of my life. . .
if that is true thats crazy it looks like im stayin with my ps3 .....i was thinkin of buyin wii also lol...i guess not.....but i doubt thats what really happened u cant die for joggin .....never in history has a human being died from joggin ...joggin is good 4 u ....lol
This doesn't make sense because when you use WiiFit, you are not on the board when you run like the article said. The WiiFit Jog is jogging in place. Thats it. The game should not be held responsible for his health problems
Well, that's it for me. I'm never gonna work out again, it might kill me...
DONT BE AFRAID AMERICA! EXCERCISE IS VERY HEALTHY FOR THE HUMAN BODY! LOL, propaganda at its finest.
Wii Fit isn't a computer game. My prayers are with those mourning. A true gamer he was, I wouldn't want it any other way myself.
oh wow that really sucks... dying by working out, and he wasn't even overweight! Hehe I'm glad I don't have a Wii!
