Despite being over a decade old, Sega's Virtua Fighter legacy continues to astound. Virtua Fighter 5's release on the Xbox 360 is the franchise's highest point, trouncing the PlayStation 3 version from earlier this year. Developer AM2 does exceptional work, combining intuitive hand-to-hand combat with splendid visuals. The additional modes earn high marks as well, including a thorough Quest Mode and -- finally -- online play. Despite a few corny audio samples, Virtua Fighter 5 offers hard-hitting fighting perfection that no one should miss.
