THQ announced today that it is making the game versions of the upcoming Pixar film, Up. The game will come out on PS2, PS3, PSP, PC, DS, Wii and Xbox 360. Up will be developed by Heavy Iron Studios, who also handled the game versions of Ratatouille and Wall-E.

The Up game will focus on the adventures of old fogey Carl Fredricksen and the significantly younger Wilderness Explorer Russell. The game will have co-op for up to four players, with the addition of characters Dug the dog and Kevin the prehistoric bird. There will also be competitive multiplayer modes, including an aerial combat mini-game.
