In a move that shocked no one, Midway and Epic announced that the popular first person shooter, Unreal Tournament III blasts its way onto Xbox 360 this summer. The game retains the PlayStation 3 version's visual splendor, as characters explore detailed maps and turn each other into meaty chunks.

For the most part, 360 UT III looks and plays exactly like its PC and PS3 counterpart, with a few exceptions. Obviously, you'll have numerous achievements to unlock, but Epic took things a step further by adding five new maps, two as of this writing unannounced exclusive characters and all of the recently released downloadable content. So, you're getting the super special edition. We just hope the characters are interesting. We'd much rather see Master Chief over some standard issue looking thug in oversized body armor.

Furthermore, there's nothing stopping the PC modding community from recreating those five maps and then PS3 owners downloading them, so little by little, the Xbox 360 port becomes less special. However, UT III is a sweet FPS that'll thrive, courtesy of a rabid Xbox Live community. Get ready to frag the night away this summer.
