Electronic Arts has been recently concluded a series of parody trailers for Ultima Online: Samurai Empire. These trailers focus on a new employee at EA's office... the ninja. Hilarity ensues, trust me. More info about Ultima Online: Samurai Empire and the parody trailers can be found at EA's official website for the game.

Ultima Online: Samurai Empire features:

  • A new continent - Explore the beautiful and dangerous Tokuno Islands, a Japanese-themed land filled with scenic housing areas, mythical creatures, monsters, dungeons, and more.
  • New treasure - Adventurous players will be rewarded with new weapons, armor, clothing, house objects, magic and more.
  • New guild system - Players can use a powerful new tool to create guilds, set up ranks, propose alliances, declare war on other guilds, and set win conditions.
  • The Samurai class, which specializes in physical combat abilities. These skills include Lightning Strike (iaijitsu), a ferocious and fast single attack with a 50 percent hit bonus; Whirlwind (tasumakiken), where a Samurai's powers increase as the number of enemies he's fighting multiply; and Honorable Execution (ichishizan), which is an attempt to eliminate an enemy with a single attack.
  • The Ninja class, which concentrate on magical combat and stealth. The Ninja player will master many deadly arts that include Smoke Bomb (tonko-jitsu), which they use to make themselves disappear. By using Animal Form (henshin-jitsu), Ninjas can turn into seemingly harmless creatures like wolves and serpents, allowing them to move freely among their enemies. With the Mirror Image skill (utsusemi-jitsu), Ninjas can confuse their enemies by creating up to four mirror images of themselves.

Ultima Online: Samurai Empire, available now for the PC, is rated "T" by the ESRB and carries a suggested retail price of $29.99.
