The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has seen a number of member companies leave its ranks over the last year or so (Activision, LucasArts, NCsoft, etc.), but today the association announced that SouthPeak Interactive has joined.

SouthPeak is probably best known for its RPG Two Worlds. The publisher has been growing, however, and also has put out products such as the My Baby series, Big Bang Mini, Velvet Assassin, Ninjatown and Section 8.

"Our industry needs a strong and active trade organization and we are pleased to support that effort," said Richard Iggo, Vice President of Marketing for SouthPeak Interactive. "We look forward to participating in the many programs and opportunities provided by the ESA."

"We welcome SouthPeak Interactive to the ESA, and look forward to experiencing first-hand the array of creative products for which it is known," said Michael D. Gallagher, CEO of the ESA. "We are proud to represent the entire video game industry and look forward to working closely with SouthPeak Interactive's leadership and its employees as we continue to fight piracy, combat unconstitutional legislation, and expand our industry's contributions to the economy and society overall."
