Today, Atlus announced that they will be bringing Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 to the U.S. The game will be a direct sequel to the 2005 Trauma Center: Under the Knife. Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 will release on the DS in July 2008.

After the events of the first Trauma Center completely wiped out GUILT, problems still remain. Dr. Derek Stiles and Nurse Angie Thompson are back to deal with the aftermath of the killer virus. Along with the new storyline, Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 also has new difficulty modes and operations.
