The creators of the popular Trackmania racing game series are moving into a new era. France-based developer Nadeo has now been acquired by fellow France-based publisher Ubisoft. Financial terms were not disclosed.Formed in 2000, Nadeo has released other games in its lifetime but the Trackmania titles have been by far the most popular, combining arcade racing with puzzle and track building elements. Nadeo has also released full scale versions of Trackmania for free which have added to their popularity.
