Tony Hawk's Project 8 keeps the series alive and well on the Xbox 360. Despite the fact that its general nature hasn't changed that much (doing trick combos, completing tasks for pesky folks who can't do otherwise), this game kicks a major amount of ass. One stellar new feature fans will savor is Nail the Trick- a slammin' new trick mode where players can actually flip around the board in real time with their feet. The visuals may be jumpy from time to time, and building a skater isn't so compelling an experience this time around, but past these negatives, skateboarders should buy this game immediately.
