Like the PlayStation 2 version before it (and the forthcoming Xbox Live download pack), Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the PSP has no trouble retaining the adventurous spirit of Lara Croft. Crystal Dynamics has done great work recreating the ambience of the original PlayStation classic into a game that almost feels new. It translates well onto the PSP, with fun gameplay, visuals and sounds that bring out the best in the handheld. The adventure still ends sooner than expected, but the "it's the journey not the destination" logic plays best here. PSP owners shouldn't hesitate to go hands-on with Croft.
