According to Sonopress, an Authorized Replicator for Ubisoft, 600,000 copies of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow have been generated for the Xbox. This is 100,000 more units than shipped for the original Splinter Cell's release.
"We fully expected Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow would generate strong consumer demand and that we'd need to be prepared to meet that demand," said Rich Kubiszewski, vice president of operations for Ubisoft.
It's likely that more units will need to be replicated, as Pandora Tomorrow has proven to be even more popular than its predecessor. PlayStation 2 and GameCube owners are no doubt anticipating July 15th (according to EBGames.com) for their own versions of the game.
