During their recent fiscal report, Ubisoft briefly mentioned that several of their key upcoming releases would be delayed. Most impending are Splinter Cell Conviction and Red Steel 2, both of which were slotted to release late during 2009, and will now slip into early 2010.
Ghost Recon 4 and I am Alive were originally set to release in early 2010, but now Ubisoft is reporting that they will slip into their fiscal year 2010 – 11, which runs from April 2010 until March 2011.
While we're certain some of these are needed delays for game polish and the like, some are likely a product of giving the holiday period (and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) a miss. Assassin's Creed 2 is, notably, holding onto its November 20, 2009 release date.
