The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Rainbow Six Vegas hits the PlayStation 3, complete with all of the content from last year's Xbox 360 version. As an elite member of a counterterrorist unit, gamers must thwart a terrorist plot, wasting away scumbags with a plethora of real world weapons. Simple to use squad commands allow players to effectively lead a two-man team, and the semi intelligent artificial intelligence forces them to strategize before taking down enemies, lest they get shot in the head. The same holds true for multiplayer, where 16 players engage each other across 13 maps and 10 game types. In addition, they create their own soldiers, outfit them with equipment and then watch as they evolve over time, the goal to become the most feared online fighting machine. The lack of rumble and Xbox specific achievements blows, but overall, PS3 owners will have fun with this intense and attractive shooter.
