In what is probably as much a promotion for Ubisoft as it is a test of Home's abilities, SCEA announced that the Closed Beta users of PlayStation home will soon have access to various content from Ubisoft.

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced today the first third-party event to be held inside the PlayStation Home Closed Beta. For five days after Ubisoft's Ubidays event, there will be media dedicated to Ubisoft in Home. The content will preview future PS3 titles like Far Cry 2, Tom Clancy's EndWar, Shaun White Snowboarding, Tom Clancy's HAWX, Soul Calibur IV and Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway and the new Prince of Persia.
"We're excited about hosting Ubisoft's Ubidays as the first third party publisher in PlayStation Home. It gives us an opportunity to showcase how developers and publishers can begin to cultivate their passionate fan base beyond traditional static news announcements with fully integrated virtual interactive experiences," said Susan Panico, Senior Director of PlayStation Network. "And this is only the tip of the iceberg on ways publishers and developers will be able to interact with fans in PlayStation Home."
More details on the Ubidays PlayStation Home event will release on blog.us.playstation.com.
