Not as complete as its console brother, but a solid action game nonetheless.

GRAW 2 for PSP is a stripped down experience. With less buttons and the constant problem of not having that second analog nub, sacrifices had to be made. Nevertheless, the game performs competently, even if adjusting to the control scheme might take a little effort. Maneuvering the camera via the face buttons is slower than it probably should be; it is not too difficult to master. The most cumbersome control aspect comes from selecting weapons by holding right on the d-pad while at the same time using the d-pad to scroll up and down. There are alternate control schemes, but they generally make movement or panning the camera even more difficult.
Due to some of these time-consuming concessions, the default difficulty was toned down in an attempt to compensate. With auto-lock turned on, zooming in and mowing down the bad guys is simple, if not overly easy.
In addition, the game lacks the console versions' dramatic cut scenes. For the PSP, all you get are some voiced introductions, as well as a few camera pans with voice-over to push along each mission with new objectives. You can play via third or first person views, but the game's play mechanics seem to work best in third-person.
