The GameDaily One-Minute Review
The Ghost team gets sent back to Mexico, where the people are embroiled in civil unrest and rebel forces seek to destabilize the government. That's all in a day's work in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (GRAW2). Players control a squad of elite covert-op soldiers in this tactical first person shooter. But players shouldn't expect to run in with guns blazing, or else they'll be met with a quick death. Being shot in a critical area will instantly kill soldiers, so going each mission turns into a slow-paced, deliberate affair, where players must peek around each corner and move from cover-to-cover while maintaining a careful watch on how they spend each bullet. The game has some brutally difficult (some would say sadistic) missions, and not much has changed from part one besides the upgraded graphics, which goes to waste on drab and boring environments that look little different from what players have already seen before. The artificial intelligence becomes a little questionable at times, requiring some extra babysitting to keep teammates alive, but players willing to deal with these quirks will definitely find some extremely challenging gameplay in line with the GRAW tradition.User Reviews
