No Turtle should have to undertake such a task on their own. With that, Ubisoft introduces a power-up structure called the Family System. During combat scenarios, players earn points that build energy within this System. Once it fills up, they call upon a fellow Turtle to help them out. For instance, if Foot Clan soldiers overwhelm Donatello, he can call upon Michelangelo to pull off a devastating team attack. These team attacks vary depending on which turtles become available. One involves launching Raphael at bad guys, like a bowling ball. Another shows Donatello swinging Michelangelo by his feet while his nunchuks extend to strike surrounding foes.
In addition, the Turtles work together to reach new areas in the game. For example, say Leonardo sees a rooftop in the distance he needs to get to, just outside of jumping range. He can call upon a fellow Turtle to launch him high into the air, allowing him to reach it safely. Just a tip to Ubisoft -- integrating some kind of co-op multiplayer in the game would make it better. Similar to Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow... but with turtles.
Ubisoft's take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise could be the best one to date. If Ubi Montreal makes the game play as well as it looks, it could be a shell of a good game. Put the pizza company on speed dial now.
