Speaking to MHT, Arthur Bruno and Eric Campanella talked about their new venture, Crate Entertainment. The veterans of Iron Lore have purchased two projects from the now defunct developer and are shopping them to publishers. One of the projects is codenamed Black Legion and is set to release on Xbox 360 as an action/RPG.

"One of our real goals is to take the solid game play we established in Titan Quest and repackage it to make it sort of grittier and more appealing to the mainstream audience," said Bruno. "We're trying to evolve the action to something that will bring the RPG to its next level."

While other Iron Lore vets are collaborating with Chinese company Tencent Holdings on an MMO title, Bruno decided to take the more entrepreneurial route. "I thought, I can take a job at another company and keep doing what I've been doing," he said, "or I can do something more than that."
