Konami today announced that Time Hollow is in development. The DS title sees Ethan Kairos trying to discover the whereabouts of his family using the Hollow Pen, which lets him create portals to the past. Ethan must use the mystical pen and solve the mysteries behind his family's disappearance.

"A new franchise for Konami, Time Hollow delivers a unique adventure that will challenge and intrigue gamers with the combination of a deep storyline and clever puzzles," said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment. "The game has a very unique look and style as the writing and cinematics of the game were done by some of the most gifted and popular talent in Japan."

Time Hollow will release on DS in Fall 2008.
