EA announced today that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 has shipped to retailers nationwide and is currently available for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and PC. The game, which benefits from an exclusive partnerships with the PGA TOUR and the world's most famous golfer, Tiger Woods, contains several new features including the all-new Legends career mode. In the Legends career mode, players can create an ultra-detailed golf character (aged anywhere from 8 to 80 using the state-of-the-art GameFace II technology), then take that golfer to the course to earn the chance to tee off against some of golf's greatest legends including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Ben Hogan. Only when players complete the ultimate challenge -- a victory over Tiger Woods himself -- will they become golf legends themselves.

The game features online play on both the Xbox and PlayStation 2 as players can go head-to-head on any of the game's eight new courses which include Harbor Town Golf Links, Sherwood Country Club, Fancourt Golf Club Estate and the Ailsa Course at Turnberry Golf Club.
