The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 comes out swinging on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but doesn't quite reach the green. The introduction of hooks and slices results in shots that veer off too easily to the left or right, even for the steadiest hand. That's too bad, because the rest of the game lines up nicely. The presentation looks and sounds as good as ever, and the introduction of shot confidence, which looks at past performance to determine the likelihood of making a particular shot, and an effective new putting preview add depth to the game. As always, Tiger's a fun game but the 08 version comes up short of earning green jacket status.
