The GameDaily One-Minute Review
2005's attempts to bring back the beat-em-up genre have been a mixed bag, with some good (Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks), some average (Urban Reign), and some downright awful (Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance). However, leave it to an old film franchise and a reliable game company to boost the genre to new heights, as The Warriors is absolutely staggering. Its gameplay is precise and wide-spread, its presentation is truthful to the film, and its extras are plentiful. Indeed, I can dig it!
