The Bay Area-based developer appears to have folded. Stormfront's work includes the recent Spiderwick Chronicles and the classic Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter Nights.

Gamasutra is reporting that Stormfront Studios will be closing down. The developer last worked on the game version of The Spiderwick Chronicles, published by Sierra. Stormfront's recent development history includes The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone and Eragon.

GameDaily BIZ has contacted Stormfront via phone and email to confirm the closing. Stormfront's main business phone, however, does not appear to be active, which is not a positive sign for the developer.
