The Sims has been a wildly popular franchise for Electronic Arts (EA) for the past few years. EA has been able to release expansion pack after expansion pack, each becoming more popular than the next for the PC version of The SIMS.

Today marks another milestone for the game as the original ships for both the GameCube and Xbox. The game is now available on all next generation consoles, as it had become available for the PS2 approximately one month ago.

The Sims is nothing more than a "life simulator" that becomes ridiculously addictive. You create your character, called a SIM, and take them through their day to day life. You'll have to get a job, make friends, and more or less advance through life. The console game will allow you to load your SIMS game onto a friends SIM game and play two player, where you can interact with your friend's SIM.
