Nintendo's conference was everything a Nintendo fan wanted and more. Perhaps the biggest GameCube announcement was that Nintendo plans on releasing a new Zelda game. However, this was not just a regular Zelda game; what was shown on screen was a very "realistic" looking Zelda.

The debate started when Nintendo released the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in cell-shaded form. This announcement came in light of a realistic Zelda shown the year prior. Well, Nintendo is giving us the best of both worlds, as they showed a "jaw dropping" version of the next Zelda game.

Details were not given other than "coming soon;" however, the clip shown displayed a very realistic Link doing battle with enemies, solving puzzles and riding his horse into the sunset. One thing is for sure: the demo sent chills through every Zelda fan's spine.
