One of Japan's most respected gaming publications, Famitsu, has published its own list for the top 25 games of 2007. The rankings are based on the magazine's ratings, which are determined by four editors who each give games a score out of 40 total points. Incredibly, the top 25 list contains 10 games for Microsoft's Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 continues to struggle in Japan. In February, the console sold a mere 14,000 units, so it's a shame so few Japanese gamers are actually playing these great titles. Top Xbox 360 titles to make the list include Bethesda's RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Infinity Ward's first-person shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
