Nintendo's Wii just received a Mature-rated jump-start, thanks to Sega's gore-filled The House of the Dead: Overkill. This enjoyable light gun shooter takes you through seven levels filled with zombies and other terrors. Armed with a pistol, shotgun and other deadly toys, you'll use the Wii remote to dismember these creatures and splatter their guts along walls. In addition to the satisfying amount of blood, the game also has a stylish and campy presentation that reminds us of the Grindhouse films, complete with grainy filter and excessive swearing. Boss fights are easy, some levels are too dark and the action chugs along, but Overkill is a digital slaughterhouse full of carnage that'll make you happy to be an adult Wii owner.
