Sega's upcoming Wii game, House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return contains two zombie shooters on one disc. Players will use Wii remotes and nunchuk controllers in place of light guns, although Sega indicated that the game will also support the Wii Zapper.
House of the Dead 2 takes place some time after the events of the first game, where agents from AMS, a secret international agency, are sent to investigate Venice, Italy after an agent named "G" suddenly falls out of contact. It turns out their worst fears come true, and a new legion of the undead rampage through the city. The agent(s) must shoot their way through waves of zombies and big bosses to succeed.
House of the Dead III takes players to a post-apocalyptic future to explore an abandoned research facility linked to the collapse of civilization. In doing so, players gain a more in-depth look at the motivations behind creating the original undead army. They must also battle a new group of undead with origins rooted in the original experiment from the first House of the Dead.
Sega hasn't revealed planned updates for House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return besides Wii Zapper support, but we can look forward to the branching storylines that change according to the player's performance and six different game modes, including Time Attack to test those reflexes. The dead will make their return on the Wii next spring.
