Box art for the 360 bundle.

2K Games announced this afternoon that its 2007 action-adventure BioShock and Bethesda's fourth Elder Scrolls title, Oblivion, will be available as a two-game bundle for both the Xbox 360 ($39.99) and Games for Windows ($29.99) starting July 7. The games were awarded "Game of the Year" at the Spike TV awards in 2006 and 2007.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a single-player role-playing game set in the open world continent of Tamriel (the same place previous Elder Scrolls games were set). Our own Chris Buffa gave it a 9/10, calling it "everything you hoped it would be."

Still unsure? We gave 2K's underwater dystopian adventure BioShock a 10/10 -- editor-in-chief Libe Goad said, "This is the closest we've gotten to video game rapture." You'll also definitely want to catch up on this game before its sequel, BioShock 2, comes out this November.

Here's the bottom line: if you haven't picked up either game (shame on you!), there's no better time than now. Unless of course, you've got a PlayStation 3 -- Bethesda says that since 2K Games didn't co-publish the PS3 version of Oblivion like they did the PC and 360 versions, there will not be a PS3 bundle of the two games.
