In Bizarre Creations' The Club, players select one of eight characters to participate in an underground blood sport for the sadistic entertainment of ridiculously wealthy sponsors. This third-person shooter might sound like something inspired by Manhunt, but it includes a play style inspired by Project Gotham Racing.

Each of the eight characters feature different strengths, endurance levels and skills needed to survive. Each contestant must battle through obstacle courses while on the run from sadistic hunters. Similar to how Project Gotham Racing isn't just about driving fast, The Club encourages winning with style. Using a diverse group of characters that include a police officer, a Russian criminal and a thrill-seeker, players will need to run through each arena as quickly as possible while maintaining combo chains. Combo chains, of course, mean killing streaks. Gamers must come up with creative and skillful ways to take out targets, either with a head-shot or using the explosive, destructible environment. In addition, they can keep combos going by shooting skull tokens spread across the arenas.

Arena locales span the globe and range from a prison to a mansion, with stops on an ocean liner, warehouse and sewer system. Since the game focuses on survival of the fittest, players must gather weapons from fallen enemies. With 17 different weapons to pick up, including a SPAS-12 semi-automatic combat shotgun and an AK-47 assault rifle, gamers will find plenty of toys to play with.
