The GameDaily One-Minute Review

The Ninja Turtles have returned to Nintendo's Game Boy Advance in an all new adventure called Battle Nexus. Playing as the four heroes on the half shell, you'll wade through 60 stages full of enemies, giant bosses, and other assorted hazards, and there are vehicles to ride and multiplayer for up to four of you. However, the game is far from totally tubular. Some awful level design really holds the game back, but the biggest crime is taking away your weapons! Often times you'll begin the stage without your Katanas, Sai, Nunchaku, and Bo staff, and by the time you locate them the stage is over! TMNT 2 Battle Nexus isn't terrible, but it's a far cry from a quality game, and unless Konami saves the franchise, this series needs to head back to the sewers.
