When it comes to my enjoyment of video games, I have very simple requirements. I like games that are easy to control, look good, and have fun things to do. Unfortunately, when it comes to Teen Titans, a new game based on the popular animated series, I was never able to figure out how many fun things it boasted because it was so difficult to control.

The game stars five of the characters from the TV show: Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy. These teen titans must stop their evil nemesis, who wants to take over the world by cloning the titans and using the clones to help him in his quest. Each teen titan has special abilities that can help you get through a level. For example, Beast Boy can shrink into a bird and fly through small spaces. This is all well and good, except that with five characters, it is often difficult to remember who does what, let alone scroll through, choose one, and do the task. The game opens with a tutorial, and switching between characters was awkward there. In the thick of gameplay, it's even worse.

Many of the moves in the game require awkward movements that are completely unnatural, and this serves to make the game a lot more frustrating than it should be. The game is built around a solid license, with a strong object leading the player through the levels. Unfortunately, those who lack the patience or coordination are going to be quickly disenchanted with the direction the game takes.

If you are a fan of the show or don't mind a hearty challenge, Teen Titans may be just what you are looking for!
