GameDaily breaks down the classes of Team Fortress 2, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses so that players can spend more time kicking ass and less time waiting to re-spawn.

Scout

Strengths: The fast-moving Scout can run circles around Heavy firepower, making it the best for capturing briefcases and control points. Scouts can even shotgun or bludgeon slow-moving opponents along the way.

Weaknesses: Speed comes at a high price. Scouts don't have many health points, and their weapons require close proximity for full effectiveness. Turrets are especially troublesome for these speed freaks.

Soldier

Strengths: Armed with a rocket launcher, the Soldier makes a great front line class that does massive area damage. It can use its weapon to take out turrets and rocket jump to new locations for a better vantage point.

Weaknesses: Rockets do great damage, but are slow-moving. Most classes, especially the Scout, can easily dodge them and fire back several shots. Soldiers need to be especially aware of Snipers, who will kill them with one shot.
