Two puzzlers, Word Puzzle and Switchball, promise brain-melting joy.

Word Puzzle and Switchball, promise to test the brains of gamers as both appeared on the Xbox Live Arcade service this morning.
Word Puzzle offers a new 3-D slant on the classic pen and paper experience with special effects and exploding word bombs (although not F-bombs). Five game modes, Xbox Live action for up to four players and Xbox Live Vision support should help gamers playing this family-friendly game for hours. Word Puzzle is rated E for Everyone and costs 800 points.
Switchball gets gamers to think about physics a little more as they manipulate the physical properties of a ball in order to solve puzzles. Sounds weird, right? The premise is simple as you use transforming pads to grow the size of the ball or add to its mass to help navigate through the mazes filled with razor's edge corners and moving walkways. The full version offers five full 3-D environments and support for two-player cooperative or eight player competitive gaming modes. The full version of the Switchball sells for 800 points (although unavailable in Korea).
Or you could also try the Switchball PC demo.
