Gas Powered Games announced today that they are bringing Supreme Commander to the Xbox 360. They are collaborating with Hellbent Games and Aspyr Media to co-develop the console version of this RTS title. Xbox 360 edition of Supreme Commander will feature exclusive new units, updated maps and new multiplayer modes via Xbox Live, in addition to a revised, console-specific control interface and HUD.

"Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games have an incredible talent for producing great games, and judging by the amazing reviews, Supreme Commander is no exception," said Ted Staloch, Executive Vice President, Publishing for Aspyr. "The RTS genre reaches new levels of excitement on consoles with each new release. Hellbent Games, Gas Powered Games and Aspyr have combined forces to produce an Xbox 360 title that will ensure retail success to match the critical praise."

"Aspyr's developer-friendly publishing environment delivers 100% on our vision for bringing Supreme Commander to the Xbox 360," said Chris Taylor, CEO and Creative Director of Gas Powered Games and Lead Designer of Supreme Commander. "We believe that we've raised the bar for RTS gaming on the PC and now, co-developing with Hellbent Games, we know that we can do the same on consoles.
