Nintendo Addresses Super Smash Bros. Brawl Issue
Turns out the problem is with certain Wii consoles and not any particularly flaw in the game discs. It will remind some users of the different sort of horror that came up when their GameCube couldn't read Eternal Darkness.

Japan: Smash Bros. Leads February Game Sales with Over 1.3 Million
Super Smash Bros. Brawl dominated the charts in Japan for February as the Wii outsold the PS3 more than 3:1. The PSP also passed the 8 million units sold mark.
