This game defies gravity
Just like the original, you need to collect all 120 stars and foil Bowser's plans on taking over the universe! I say it's a great game & Charles Martinet's voice is awesome!
The gravity effects are cool and its pretty fun for the first few levels but I think that after that its a bit monotonous. Basically it has really good graphics and okay good but limited game play. BTW I didn't finish the whole game cuz I got bored so I don't know what the end is like so don't just go by what I say. Rent it and if you like it buy it.
This was a very good game with marvelous graphics and an interesting plotline. You see, Mario is at a Mushroom Kingdom festival, talking with all his mushroom headed friends and collecting floating stars all around, as you make your way to the palace. Then, suddenly a giant pirate ship comes, shooting fireballs at everyone! A giant UFO also comes, turning people into frozen crystals! Finally you race towards the castles bridge when suddenly it is hit by a fireball and starts to crack. As Mario slowly finds his way up, the UFO shoots a projectorbeam and takes the whole castle of the ground! Meanwhile the koopa wizard in charge of the UFO shoots a spell from his staff and knocks Mario into the Vacuum of space. Mario then lands on a strange planet with many glowing stars and a queen that talks to him and show him how he can get the grand stars to restore peace to the galaxies. You are also given a starry friend, Luma, who guides you throughout the game and gives you the ability to spin attack. Whether you're zipping around, defeating gigantic bosses, or simply playing with a friend, you'll always love this game no matter what!!
junk, junk, junk! i think this is the worse game ever! so what if i beat it?!?! it gets boring in 2 days after you beat it!

This game is the greatest game I have ever incountered. The graphics are like looking out your window on the most beautiful day of your life(unless you live in a town called crapville or something discusting). I would say that you have about 10 hours of gameplay just by going through the main game. If a man came up to and asks if you wanted this game and you say no, a gorilla will come and slap your butt 10000 times. It is a must have game for every one. Even if you dont have a wii. I give this game 10 out of 10!
Super Mario Galaxy is a must-have in your library of games. It has amazing visuals for the Wii, fun and simple game play, catchy tunes (of new and old), and if you're a Mario fan, this surely is one that is a blast from the past. This game is for gamers, both casual and hardcore alike. Though the only problems is an uncooperative camera at some times and the somewhat frustrating purple coins missions, these are flaws that can be easily forgotten with a game of this epic caliber. Overall, this will go down as a game that can not be described by any other character but one:Mario. Plus, if you play the game long enough to get all the stars, you'll be met with a suprise...so get up and explore the galaxy!
I've played quite a lot of Mario games, & this is definitely one of the best. I recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of Mario, has a Wii, & is looking for a game they won't be able to stop playing. Great game! I love it.
