Mario better watch out, because he's not the only larger than life personality on Wii. Strong Bad, from Homestar Runner, plans to crash land onto Nintendo's console via WiiWare, playing pranks and abusing his friends in the upcoming video game, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. Developed by Telltale Games, makers of the popular Sam & Max series, in conjunction with Homestar Runner's creators, this five episode point and click adventure promises lots of laughs and tons of references to retro games.

You can't handle Strong Bad's cool style.

In the first episode, you play as the hilarious Strong Bad, the boxing glove and mask wearing super cool dude that enjoys playing pranks and beating up his friends. Similar to Sam & Max, you'll point the cursor (in this case, the Wii remote) at the screen, click and watch Strong Bad mosey over to that location. In addition, selecting various objects enables you to interact with them, so picking up a phone causes him to make a prank phone call, while clicking another character will result in some form of interaction.

You start in Strong Bad's home. His buddy, Homestar, was recently accused of indecency, and it's up to you to convince him that his name's been cleared, the goal to kick him out of Strong Bad's house. To do this, you need to explore the crib, solving puzzles and completing quests. You can expect tons of hilarious dialogue, over the top shenanigans and plenty of references to classic video games. You can even take a break from adventuring to play the fictitious old school classic, Snake Boxer 5, which tasks you with beating up an infinite number of snakes.

The game overflows with personality, and fans of the cartoons will enjoy wandering around famous locales and talking to various characters, including Homestar, Bubs and Strong Sad, Strong Bad's brother. Each character has their signature voices and tendencies, which further add to the game's authenticity. You can even create your own teen girl squad comics, putting them in uncompromising positions.

It remains to be seen, however, whether or not the gameplay matches the quality presentation. Telltale has a knack for creating excellent point-and-click video games, but most of the fun seems to come from watching how Strong Bad interacts and reacts with things and characters. With that said, we're confident in Telltale's ability to make a satisfying game experience, and with such a popular license, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is bound to be a huge hit when it debuts on the Wii in the coming months.
