SNK USA announced recently that they will release a special Metal Slug 4 & 5 bundle pack for the PS2 and Xbox. Both games feature the classic 2D, run-and-gun action that the Metal Slug series is known for. In Metal Slug 4, the team must combat a computer virus that is taking over the world's militaries. The secrets of the Metal Slug tank have been stolen in Metal Slug 5, and its up to the team to recover them and destroy the mysterious Ptolemaic Army.

Originally announced a year ago with the expected release date of Spring 2005, the compilation is now expected to ship early Summer 2005. Metal Slug 4 & 5 will retail for the SRP of $39.99.
